note the weather and venues

The reception area has air conditioning. If you get cold easily, it is advisable to bring a coat or cover-up.
DRESS appropriately for THE church ceremony
Lean towards modesty and avoid anything too revealing. Another options is to bring a cover-up for church.

How to Get There
The best way to travel to Pampanga is by car. It takes about 1.5 - 2 hours to drive from Metro Manila to Bacolor.
It is possible to commute to Pampanga from Manila. There are provincial buses that stop at San Fernando, Pampanga. We would recommend taking Victory Liner from their Cubao or Pasay Terminals. They have regular trips and you can book tickets ahead. Please take the bus headed to Zambales passing through inner cities (on the website, look for routes via San Fernando).
From San Fernando, you can book a Grab car or hail a tricycle to travel to Bacolor.
If you are coming from outside Luzon, you can fly in to Pampanga via the Clark International Airport (CRK). From there, you can ride a taxi or book a Grab Car to your accommodations.
The next nearest airport to Pampanga is the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Manila. From there, you can ride the bus airport transfer to Clark or transfer to a provincial bus terminal.
Getting Around
The best way to get around is by private vehicle.
You can also book a Grab Car to the church and reception venue from San Fernando or within Bacolor. However, it can still be a bit more difficult to book compared to booking in Metro Manila.
Another option is hailing a tricycle.
Accommodations
The venue is not that far from Metro Manila but if you intend to stay in town (it's the weekend, stay a little while!), we recommend staying in Bacolor or San Fernando, Pampanga. These are the nearest to the wedding venues. As the wedding is on a weekend, we would recommend booking in advance due to demand.

Mula de Leticia
Conveniently located inside the reception venue, there are extra rooms and villas available. The venue only allows wedding guests to book through the couple. Please message us if you would like to book a room so we can check availability.
Search for a hotel online
You can also opt to use hotel booking sites such as Agoda, Booking.com and Airbnb.
Things to Do
Pampanga has a lot of great stuff to get up to. We put together a little guide of things to eat and drink, places to explore & more.
01. Restaurants
Pampanga is the culinary capital of the Philippines. Try the local cuisine at some of the restaurants that we and our friends family greatly recommend.
Apag Marangle
Dine in kubos surrounded by fish ponds. Come here for authentic kapampangan dishes and al fresco dining.
Our faves: camaru ginisa (sauteed mole crickets), Nasing Marangle (Apag Marangle's fried rice) and Ensaladang Pako.
Cely's Carinderia
A carinderia with branches in Angeles and San Fernando that serves authetnic kapampangan dishes turo-turo style. Many returning OFWs love to visit this restaurant.
25 Seeds
Chef Sau del Rosario's farm-to-table restaurant built on an old house and serving reinvented modern Filipino dishes. Try their Truffle Macadamia Karekare!
IChef Sau del Rosario also owns Cafe Fleur in Pampanga (which has since moved to Makati)
Aling lucing's SISIG
Try the traditonal kapampangan dish made by the sisig queen herself It is a labor of love where the meat is boiled, grilled and then served sizzling.
None of that mayonnaise nonsense.
Diosdado's
The restaurant is owned by Chef Howard Dizon and serves heirloom recipes of his family buffet-style (on weekends). He is famous for his asadong dilang baka but you should try everything because they're all good
Lola ima
It is a restaurant serving Kapampangan cuisine. They have 2 branches in San Fernando and another Lakeshore Mexico. Lola Ima also offers merienda and breakfast buffets as well as a pasalubong center.
Susie's Cuisine
Go here for merienda and sweets. Susie's is a famous local chain that serves kapampangan merienda staples. Must try: biko (sticky rice made of squash), biringhe (a local version of paella) and tibok tibok (infinitely better than its corn starch-based cousin maja blanca), and their palabok (large servings!)
Susie's also has a pasalubong shop that sells snacks you can bring home.
lelut baculud
Lelut is lugaw in Kapampangan and Baculud is the old name of Bacolor. Situated near the border of San Fernando and Bacolor, this is a place frequented by locals for a good meal with big servings. We were surprised to find afforable lengua served here.
Shu HAN
An unlimited Hotpot and Grill Restaurant with a variety of choices and generous servings at a reasonable price. The restaurant is popular among Kapampangans and there is a queue during meal times. It is best to call the restaurant ahead of time for a reservation.
Other good places:
1) Bariotik - Serving putok batok realness. If you're the type to eat to your heart's content, Bariotik is the best place to be.
2) Dainty's - One of the oldest restaurants in the province serving Filipino- chinese dishes.
3) Macabebest - Another place to have good palabok and halohalo. It's in their name.
4) Ningnangan - Means Ihawan or Grill and serves just that.
5) LA Bakeshop - There's almost always a queue to this shop. Try their ensaymada with the salted egg and their cheese bread.
6) Sorriso - Italian Restaurant frequented by expats in the area. Love their ravioli and irish coffee.
Gift Registry
The most important thing to us is that you are able to celebrate with us on our wedding day. We have all the material goods we need (and definitely a lack of room for more). If you choose to give presents, you're welcome to give us a monetary gift to help us build our future together 💖
